Not that bad after all...

Review: Using an overall rating on a scale of 1-10 (10=highest) I would give this case a "7". The ABS thermo-molded plastic is the same thickness and grade as most other standard economy cases that are available in the under $100 range and seems to be quite durable. However, Schecter did do some cost cutting on the frame and the hardware which appear to be on the light side. The lining of the interior is nice, and the foam support is really firm in the areas that need it and soft in those that don’t. I found the pockets large and deep enough to hold (2) pedals, cables, strap, tuner and other accessories as a plus. Most importantly, the main compartment fits my Schecter Hellraiser perfectly!
Summary: You can find cases of similar quality priced less. But, if you need a case that truly fits your Schecter Diamond Series guitar and don’t want to spend more, then this is a case for you.

Fits Perfect, But Lacking

I bought the Schecter Diamond Series Molded Guitar Case for my C-1 FR. Despite some negative things I've read about it I made the purchase. The C-1 fits in there nice and snug and doesn't move around at all. The interior is plush and soft. There is enough room for me to fit my tuner, accessories and two 15ft cables. The only thing I don't like about it is the carrying handle. It is connected with very thin pieces of metal and rivets. If you want a case that fits your c-1 style Schecter perfectly then this is a good choice. I've packed it with me on a couple long trips and it does what I expect it to. Overall I'm satisfied with this case aside from the carrying handle.

I can't believe it says Schecter on it...

I got this case for my C-1 Exotic Star. I can't believe, after getting a guitar of superior quality for the money that Schecter would even put their name on a case like this. I just got it yesterday but I can tell it won't last long. The latches are cheap, the plastic shell is cheap and while the inside looks nice it's hard. There is about 2" or so between the top of the guitar and the top of the case. Doubt it will move though since the lid has to be pressed down on my strings to get it to close. Not sure I'm keeping this one. It's junk, especially for the high price!

This case is just okay. My C-1 Hellraiser FR does not fit in it (the space is too big). I think that this case is clearly a poor attempt, on Schecter's part, at a "universal" case. I am sure that it would fit any of the guitars that have slightly large bodies than the C-1.

i got this case for my damien 6 but its on backorder so i cant try it with the guitar in it. but its pretty good it seems sturdy and well built the only complaint i have is that the interior is not very soft. on ibanez cases the interior is really soft and nice. overall its a good case.
