I've got these little rascals on several of my guitars. I gig with them, practice with them and hang them on my walls, never one problem!! Although I wear my guitars pretty high, I just like knowing that the backs will be protected from that random scratch or ding. As an added bonus, the finish protectors anchor my basses and guitars so they're not sliding all over the place when I'm playing...very nice product!

Should come standard with all guitars

I have one of these on each of my guitars. I don't know why you wouldn't unless you have a nitro finish (for which it isn't recommended). I stays on firmly, yet comes off easy if you have through-body strings (although I just cut a hole in the Scratch Pad for my Strat strings). Highly recommended.

My friend pete wears huge belt buckles daily. He decided to pick up my les paul with out asking me and started to play with it. When I came home, I found his belt buckle burried in the scratch pad. I quickly removed the scratch pad to see if their was any damage. I was relieved to see that it was perfect. The scratch pad did its job! Thank you scatch pad!!!

AxeGlove Is Better

Bought one of these and it started to lose its ability to stay on just after a month!

A friend suggested an AxeGlove and while more expensive, it protects the ENTIRE back and part of the front of my guitar. PLUS it has a second part that protects my neck and come iff in 3 seconds when I want to remove it.

IMO, the AxeGlove is MUCH MORE superior product.
