it is a rare occasion that i pick up a guitar and play without it having the Duncan Invaders. i absolutely love them!! they always produce great sound quality. and to back it up my favorite guitarist (Synyster Gates) uses them in his custom guitar. and we can all see the great quality

I have had to play this pickup in the past...it was in an Epiphone Les Paul and it turned the guitar into a metal monster.

I recently put one in my Fernandes H-65 (pre-vertigo series) and WOW, it brought the guitar to life.

Amazing Harmonics, lots of clarity in the notes, in the chords, everything. It's an all around great pickup.

Awesome for anything heavy, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

really good but the hot rodded set is better

this pickups are really good, but yeah, the hot rodded duncan set are better. good for really deep toned metal. in other words they are good for their own reasons not just because someone uses them, cause for the record james hetfield doesnt use them, secondly the set that the guy from avenged sevenfold uses is a custom set with different pole pieces, so they have a different sound. ive played on them, and they sound dead, the different pole pieces flatten out the sound. these have a much brouder sound. their deep, but they can also get pretty trebly too. its not so great in the neck, it sounds kinda dead. but the bridge version is great, one of the best on the market, though ill still take a JB over it. but yeah, im so sick of people saying that these pickups give them a metallica sound. cause thats complete crap, metallica use EMG's, kirk uses 2 EMG-81s and james uses the 81/60 set. you cant get their sound out of different pickups, if you could then what would be the point of having different pickups. but anyways, these are good at least in the bridge, neck blows. so yeah shred.

Used By Lots of Popular Artists

This is a pretty sweet sounding pickup, just going on what I've heard from artists that use it. It's used by lots of artists including James Hetfield from Metallica, and Synyster Gates from Avenged Sevenfold. They're both awesome guitarists, and as James plays rhythm, and Syn plays Lead, that makes this a pretty versatile pickup. (Especially for metal)
