I say this not deter any one from this pick up it has alot of low end crunch squeals like a beast.. I really didnt notice much differance in either guitar I've put it in I had the invader in my ibanez s series and then my jackson kelly really didnt make much difference from the factory pickups. the tb10 how ever, no words can express the difference that pick up made in my 85 kramer still i would recommend this pickup for a lower end guitar i might place it in my squire strat

This is a really good pick-up, if your playing metal of course. The clean sound of this pick-up is a bit twangy, but the crunchy distirtion you get from this humbucker is crazy. I have to turn the gain down to 6 on my amp. I play with an Ibanez RG series guitar. I got tired of the stock ''EMGS''that was in the guitar. So i got the Seymour Duncan Invader I like the tone, it sounds good if your tuned really deep like ''white chapel'', but it also sounds good in standard. If your lookin to give your guitar some balls, this is the pick-up you want!!!

This thing is the highest output passive pup i have ever heard. i ran some single coils into my 5W tube amp and turned it up all the way and got a smooth overdrive. once i ran the invader through, i got a heavy metal distortion. the cleans are a little gritty. its a very loud clean pickup. overall, amazing pickup. right now, my dream guitar would be an LP with a floyd rose and two of these mothers.

I purchased this when I was completely revamping my old guitar. I had an older Fender Squier and decided to upgrade it. I added this pickup, and ran it only to a volume knob. It was set up much like the Tom Delonge Fender signature.

This pickup is amazing. I played through a Johnson Millennium Stereo 150, and it sounded amazing. It has awesome tone for anything punk to metal. The cleans are very clear and sound amazing, and when you throw in overdrive or any kind of reverb, you will hear exactly why so many people love this pick up.

it is a rare occasion that i pick up a guitar and play without it having the Duncan Invaders. i absolutely love them!! they always produce great sound quality. and to back it up my favorite guitarist (Synyster Gates) uses them in his custom guitar. and we can all see the great quality
