The Shubb Original C-Series Steel String Capo is slightly curved and 2" across. This caop fits almost all acoustic steel-string and electric guitars.

The Original C-Series steel string capo features a patented locking action that provides an unrivaled combination of power, speed, accuracy and ease of use. One smooth flip of the lever locks it securely in place—and removes it just as quickly.

And the Shubb C-Series capo doesn't create tuning problems. Its soft, resilient rubber is specially designed to work just like a fingertip, so the capo doesn't bend the strings over the frets. Its closing action is just like your hand's, so the Shubb Original C-Series Steel String Guitar Capo doesn't pull strings off center. As a result, no retuning is necessary.

Pretty good

I bought a cheap capo at a local store to get the feel of using one and it broke within days. I decided to order a "real" one after that, and after reading reviews I settled on this capo. It works decently enough, but I get some minor string buzz that I can't seem to get rid of no matter how I try to adjust the capo or guitar. The tone with this capo on can turn dull on lower strings as if it's muting more than holding them down, despite tension. Though the construction is better than my no-name store brand capo, I preferred how the cheap one sounded.

Small User-friendly Capo

The Shubb capo is small in its size when playing which is great if you play a lot of cowboy chords. It adjusts easily so that you can apply just the right amount of tension on the strings (as per Shubb's instructions). Other spring-loaded capos can put too much tension on the strings, causing them to go out of tune easily. The curved arm fits the back of the neck well for a snug fit. I have both the 6-string and 12-string original models and I am very satisfied with both. These capos are not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

SHUBB CAPO ORIGINAL SERIES

Durable and dependable. I have both the original and the new roller series and I like the original better. It seems to work smoother. My guitar stays in good tune with either. I've had the orig for about 20 years or more now. I once had a kyser capo leave an indention in the back of the neck on a D-28. That won't happen with the shubb. You also can place this capo on the nut when not useing. Just loosen the tension about all the way and it will work on most guitars.

NO RETUNING!!!!

I've been using Kyser capos since I've been playing, and while easy and quick to use, I've always had to retune by guitars before and after use. I was amazed at how "in tune" the Schubb kept my guitars, even capo-ing on the higher frets. It looks a million times better too because of it's low profile! The Schubb is soooo much better than Kyser.

Capo worth it

I got this capo last year for Christmas... it still is in good condition and it still makes my guitar sound awesome! I don't have to keep re-tuning my guitar after I take it off. I also don't have to worry about getting my guitar scratched when I put it on. Also, this capo is pretty cheap, yet high quality.

Looking for a capo that's high in quality, yet low on price? Here it is!
