Sound Percussion prides itself on delivering top notch equipment at a working musician's price. This SP770DPC double bass pedal set is no exception, offering a durable single-chain drive, and consistent double-bass rumble at less than you might think. Plus, you'll also get a hi-hat drop clutch so you can keep the hi-hats clamped while you pound 32nd notes on the kick drums.

This hi-hat clutch functions like a snare throw-off. Disengage and drop the top cymbal by hitting the clutch with a drum stick. Step on the pedal and the clutch attaches itself at its original position.

I bought these pedals about six months ago, i had originally just started of playing some complicated single pedal music but i wanted to try the double bass out. For the money i had this was a rele great value, it worked with speed and overall played smoothly. As i got better and started playin faster stuff it just didnt keep up with me. overall its a great value for beginners and will keep up with you for awhile

this pedal is great for beginers, great value i didn't have to buy a drop clutch when i bought this and if you don't get one you will need it. good for a low budget, but once you get better your going to want to spend the 300 dollars to get a better pedal. not something i plan on using forever but is good for now. the velcro on the bottom helps a lot but will come off sooner or later.

before i had bought this pedal i was using a rather crude pedal from a local music shop that came with my drums. though after purchasing this item i can say it works great, easy kicks, easy set up, end easy to do even without instructions (which was my scenario). overall highly recommend getting this.

also just one problem, the left kick pedal may slip if your playing this on a carpet so before you put it down slide the left pedal back one inch then tighten the spike screws on both sides and slide forward, it will stay in place with the spikes.

This is my second pair of pedals, my first pedal was the Gibraltar prowler, and they were okay, i finally got sick of them and read the reveiws here and they're right, These pedals are pretty good, i recommend them for beginners. Mine squeaked a little bit, but its an easy fix, definitely great for the price!!
