Say what you may, but this is well worth the money. I've used a cheap Tama throne for 11 years, and before that I used whatever chair I had around. If you can play drums, this is a good seat - consider the price you pay. 11 years ago, the Tama "heavy duty" hardware can't compare to the quality available in this day of age. Even if you have to adjust some screws, find something better to complain about.

I only grabbed this throne because I needed something to get by with. It works, as it is a drum throne, but I can see me replacing it shortly. There isn't anything wrong with it, just not up to par with other drum thrones out there.

I just got this throne and I really like it. It seems to be decent quality and it is very sturdy. My only complaint is that it does not have a spin hight adjustment. You can ajust the hight but you have to unscrew a bolt.

I got one and the seat broke within three weeks across the whole one side of the cushion The plywood is to thin to carry any amount of weight. I weigh 162 lb and was using it as a pedal steel seat. I guess I'll tear it apart and put heavier plywood in it. It does have a good sturdy frame otherwise.
