I used to play shows where the guitar would come out of tune after every song or 3. When I would bend for solos, the G string would immediately be out of tune. I've had these several months now, and I can say these keep your guitar in tune very well. I only have positive things to say.

I had the choice of many brands. Because I was spending about 160 hours on my first acoustic, I wanted to put the best quality I could into the parts. I made the right choice with Sperzel. They are realiable, smooth, they never slip, and the look is something I'm proud to have on my hand-made baby.

I just finished a complete rehab of my 1978 Ibanez Les Paul, which is my first electric axe. I put in new everything, including a rolling Fender bridge, a GraphTech nut, and these Sperzels. Wow! Seems like forever ago I tuned her, and now I can bend notes like crazy and she stays tuned everytime. I put black ones in my now all-black beauty. These things are amazing! Buy some now!

This is not so much a review of these tuners as it is a review of the company that makes them. And no I don't work for Sperzel. My guitar which I've had for 3 years has Sperzel tuners on it, the ivoroid button on the non-locking tuner failed & the tuner literally came apart. The guitar manufacturer suggested I contact Sperzel directly. I spoke w/ Roger at Sperzel he said to send to them to fix free of charge.I t came back fixed within a week. I installed it back on my guitar & everything works great. Up until when the button failed the tuners worked great, but the fact that this company stands behind their product & fixes it at no cost even when I didn't buy them speaks volumes.

I had to replace the machine heads on my schecter omen 6, as one of them would just move out of tune by itself. After looking around the web, i decided on locking tuners, and after more research decided sperzel was the way to go.I found a good deal on them, and I am so glad I went with them. After installing them, I tuned up and was instantly gratified with how fast it was. They feel solid and tight, look good, and do exactly what they said they would. I will put these on every guitar I get from now on.
