Get something else! Ive been playing with Schallers, Grovers and other locking tuners very prestinely and lightly for years- THESE ARE PRONE TO GETTING STUCK CLOSED and then they are pointless after that!!In a live setting, I would rather re-string it it the old fashioned way for five minutes then have to come back to this website and by new tuners- period. Get Grovers instead!!!

My main guitar features these awesome inventions. After using these I have no idea why anyone would want to screw around with regular tuning heads. The tuning stability is the best I've experienced. And the overall simplicity and speed of string changes is second to none. Buy these.

I have added Sperzel,s to almost al of my guitars. I founf that twhen I added them to my mexican 50's reissue strat, the guitar sounded better. The tuners added more weight to the body and balanced the guitar better. Of course they stay in tune if they're used properly, but I found that my tone improved with them too.

I had these on my jackson SLSMG for about 5 months. Three of the washers were ruined by the 5th time I changed my strings. Just switched to gotohs and so far they seem much more sturdy.

I've got them on every guitar I own and would never go back to stock or to any other method of string changing.

A friend was outraged that I had put them on my American '62 reissue Strat. He derisively asked if I'd put such a travesty on a Stradivarius. I told him no--unless I planned on gigging with it.

The price tag might look a little high, but they"re worth every penny--Five minute string changes, and the tuning ritual just happens once per set of strings, usually.
