I've been a professional bassist for 15+ years - this case is just as nice and protective as my other more expensive cases from SKB and Fender. If you need a good bass case for a realistic price this is it. People like to pick on Squire, but they make great stuff. Modern technology and manufacturing make this possible.

I've had this case for like 5 years and the first 2 years it was great and then it's slowly started getting worse after that. The middle latches dont stay closed, when you pick it up they pop open. The handel broke and and foam on the inside is starting to deteriorate. It's decent for the price but I woulded use it tooo heavily or expect it to last too long.

i had a show about 200 miles away and we had to tie the guitar cases on the roof, mine flew off going 85mph and all that happened was a small scratch on the case. No damage to the actual bass. Its a great for the amount you pay.

I've had this case since i've started playing bass and i like it. I have fit numerous other basses other than squires/fenders in it perfectly fine. Other than the lock you can open with anything, i think it is a good case, it has saved my basses many times from falling out of many vans.

I just received this case today, but I am very impressed. I can't believe that it didn't cost more than it did. It is very sturdy and well made and my P-Bass fits in it perfectly. I would recommend this case to anybody. I looked at other cases that cost more than this one that were not near as nice.
