A bit cheaper than what they make for Gibson. Latches are thinner. One was bent, tho was easy to bend back. Fits Gibson 61 Reissue as well as Special perfectly BUT guitar rests on tail and neck. The body support is not high enough to touch guitar and you can slide you hand thru the open space in between. With imperfections beats the crap out of ANY gigbag.

Seriously, this is the most amazingly versatile case ever plus sizewise it is very small and light! It fits my Gibson SG perfectly and it looks amazing. But, I do have the same odd smell problem as some others although it dosn't bother me. Also, the only reason I gave this case a 4.5 on quality was because when it arrived it had a rather large scratch on the side of it. It should have been scratch and dent but who cares. still amazing. The storage compartment coulsd have also been way bigger.

I doubt that this is the very best case out there, but the SG fits very snugly in it, and that is exactly what I wanted. If "snugness" were a feature, I would give this case a "5" on all counts, but it really gets down just to having a case that fits the guitar well. This case fits the SG extremely well, and I would venture that it tops all the others on this point. I wouldn't try to fit another model guitar into it. It fits like a hand in a glove.

I couldn't be more pleased with this high quality case and feel that my guitar is totally protected. The case is heavy-duty with well-made hardware and a thick plush interior that keeps the guitar from moving in the case.

odd smell but functional

This case is alright for the money, my gibson SG fits very snugly (almost too tight). The only thing is it smells strongly of something like play-dough and actually makes my SG reek of it. Also one of the buckles doesn't align properly, making it hard to close sometimes. It's functional and a good value overall if you don't mind the smell.
