Best bass string!!!

I have tried many strings from EB, d'addario, roto and fender. Nice when new but after a couple of days of playing they tend to lose their tone n sustain. So i tried TI power bass EB344 thru brother dave's recommendation and voila! A string that has nice feel, tension, sustain and tone. Nothing comes close with the quality of this string. Very reliable...I just love the feel and output of this set even when playing without an amp while practicing alone. I love it and im gonna use this set forever!

Just upgraded from Rotosound Swing Bass '66's. These strings are hyped to last a while, and I can't afford to keep replacing my Roto's to keep 'em fresh. These strings come with beautiful purple silk wrappings and they sound fantastic. Can't say I want to go back to the Rotosound's after putting a set of these on.

I generally use flatwound strings on my Alembic Bass, but I decided to try something different...roundwounds. I am glad I did! What a difference it makes in my playing and overall sound. I'll be buying more sets for my other basses. TI's are more expensive than the average bass strings but "you get what you pay for"!

Strings With ZING

The same set of EB344's has been on my #1 daily players for over 11 months. They MIGHT just now be losing a tad of their original zing but still beat a set of brand new anything else. For hard rocking, hard country, metal or anything else requiring an extra zing to it, these hot output strings deliver. They are so flexible that you will think they are fragile, but I've actually TRIED to break them and they just take the abuse. Max out the treble for an edge that cuts through titanium. The EB344 set is my favorite bass string EVER. Worth the cost and worth the wait if they are on backorder because nothing else is close.

The NUCLEAR bass string!

Thomastik-Infeld EB344's are the best roundwounds I've ever had on my passive '53 P-bass. Their startling tonal range & hot output beats any other string I've tried. Hyper-responsive with good sustain when played gently yet the combination of medium tension and high output yields a shocking thump when popped. I've had the same set on my daily player for 10 months and they still make my passive single coil P-bass sound more active. The negatives are finger noise and fretwear concerns inherent in all roundwounds. The extended life actually makes these less costly than other strings because these don't go dead overnight and there's no coating to flake off. Great for LIVE R&B, funk, hard rock or blues rock. Definitely not your "old-school" sound. They make solos truly stand out! The perfect string for your Mike Dirnt, Sting or '51 reissue P-bass if you want to knock down walls! For playing live they're the nuclear bomb of bass strings.
