These strings last so long. The sound is very warm and thick even though they are light. You won't get get a Wes Mont. or Kenny Burrell sound. You will have to go to at least 11's, but the sound is still excellent. The smoothness of the flatwounds unreal, they almost feel "buttery" (in a good way) Pick these guys up and put them on your hollowbody, you won't need a death grip to get a great sound out of complicated chord forms.
