I've installed this bridge, and the locking tailpiece on my Gibson Firebird V. I could immediatly hear the difference between this bridge set, and the stock one. Tone becomes much more refined & clear. Sustain is also greatly increased. What I like most about it though, is it's locking feature... no more fumbling around with loose parts. Before you modify your axe with new pickups or upgraded electronics, try using this bridge with the locking tailpiece. You may not need to do any other mods to get the sound you're looking for. I gave a low score on value because of the price. If it were more affordable, I'd have on of these on every one of my Gibsons.

just got this bridge today and its great! its like playing a new instrument, sustains for days and feels sturdy as stock gibson tune-o-matics, just drop these in your guitar and you're set!
