I've had this stand for 2 years and originally bought it for an Ibanez Xiphos. It is an excellent stand for any guitar but it really makes it's money when it comes to unusually shaped guitars like the Xiphos, Warrior, Stealth, V or Explorer styles. It's also very durable, like I said i've had it for two years and it is in perfect shape even after constant use on the road and at home. This stand is worth the money and did I mention it folds up? So don't miss out on an excellent, durable stand at a great price.

GS-100 Broke when I tried to get it to Lock

The twist lock knob would lock when folded up. But when I unfolded legs, and tried to twist into lock position, it would not go the 1/4 turn. When I checked that each leg was firmly unfolded, the ring base broke on the one leg. I am not a gorilla so I did not exert that much force. The twist lock, still would not go into the locking position. It broke so severly, that I doubt it would be taken back. I just threw it away in disgust. Maybe the GS200 or 300 is made better and actually works properly.

The gs-100 is simply the best guitar stand you can buy. It holds my Esp Ltd Ex-50 with no problems. Due to the radical (Explorer)shape of my guitar, the padding on the legs provide protection, while the yoke provides security. Hands down best you can get

This is simply the best guitar stand on the market. I've owned my GS-100 for 5 years and it has never failed me. I've left it at a gig and went to hell and back to retrieve it because it was that important to me. These used to cost 30 dollars more. Buy one as soon as you get the money.

Without a doubt this is the best guitar stand for the price. Safe for lacquer finishes and stable as a rock. I have six "standard" guitar stands which I would trade for another one of these.
