I had 4 of these in use in a hotel AV department, the lasted maybe 2 months before the telelock mechanisms began to completely fall apart, the purple cover would just fall off, springs popped out and the friction plate would slide around with recklass abandon! If you're looking for a speaker stand that can withstand a lot of use, look elsewhere!

These stands are light, easy to set up, easy to adjust, and sturdy. I love the telelock system. Frictions collars are easy to undertighten or over tighten. This system prevents that from happening. It allows one person the ability to raise and lower a speaker cabinet with ease and safety . It's so much nicer than holding the entire weight of a cabinet while tightening a collar. The telelock system allows for slow lowering and braking of the descent of the cabinet.

One of mine no longer stays up after 5 months of use. Speaker weight makes the pole collapse. I have heard of others with the same problem. Should of had safety pins to prevent this.
