I have these in 5A Nylon tips. They are very durable, I've used the same pair for 4 months and they are still going! I love the look and feel of the sticks. A great buy.

I have always played Vater Drumsticks for over 2 years now. I have played the DSK's for ever it seems, but I've tries these for studio. They are alot easier to carry around my large set, Though I still use the DSK's live. I think these sticks will be noticed for what they are, and that is rock solid.

I've been playing Vater for years now after wondering why I haven't been playing them my whole life. Vater's Xtreme Design sticks are the perfect funk/rock stick. They are big, yet you can still play flowing fills and chops. They are loud, raw, but still sound good for jazz & melodic music. These twigs are a great buy, and if you don't play Vater now, you will after playing one or a few different pairs.
