I am usually not a Vic Firth guy, but these sticks are some of the best feeling sticks I have ever used! They are just over a 5A in grip, but they don't feel big or heavy at all. Perfect balance and feel. I'm not the typical jazzer that uses 7A toothpicks. I like a nice sturdy feeling stick, and this one just feels so good. Great ride cymbal sound, plus they have the beef if you need to lay down a solid backbeat or a cross-stick rim click on the snare. They are pricey, but they feel so darn good that they are worth it. Did I mention that they feel good?

Absolutely the best jazz stick on the market. I can't imagine how they could possibly improve this product. The rebound really allows the sticks to play on their own. Not to mention my A's and A Customs have never sounded better.

WOW, that pretty much sums it up. I have never heard a better cymbal sound in my life! Playing the ride is simply a great experience, they are lightweight and bouncy, perfect for jazz. I would not try to sound like Bonham with them (use SD1's). They are great for lighter playing and make all your cymbals sound great. Not to mention they also sound great on snares and toms.

I play everything from jazz and funk, to metal and country. While these will obviously not take a metal beating, they will however provide you with the best jazz stick ever made. With the brightest response and very little recoil these make a perfect jazz or funk stick. Speed is greatly increased as the width, length, and weight are PERFECT... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
