i bought this pair just to see if there was a difference bettween my regular 5a's and a signature series. the steve gadd has blown me away. i love the barrel tip and i plan on using these for the rest of my career. my only complaint is the price and the length of the stick. it's a little pricier than i would wish and i feel that the stick is slightly short for my taste. overall a very good stick.

These Sticks are Just a Revelation, By Far One of The Best Pair of Signature Stick on the Market. Can Handle all Genres With Ease and the Way it Feels in Your Hand Just Makes you Neva Want to Stop Playing! Also The Way They Look Really Does The Job. These Sticks are a Key Part to my Stick Back and Will be For a Long Time to Come im Sure.

The Steve Gadd signiture series Vic Firth drumsticks are by far my favorite sticks to date. The are a bit pricey compared to some, however in my opinion sticks and heads are what make the drums come alive. I have compared these with the Sound Precussion, Zildjian, and Pro-Mark all 5B's and 7A's. These are better balenced and are more durable. The price is higher, but sometimes its better to buy quality than quantity even in sticks.

These sticks have a great feel and really lightweight. But, I had htese sticks and for about a week and they broke. So, if you're a metal drummer i don't suggest buying these.

I'm a Steve Gadd fan. Listen to Paul Simon's "50 Ways to leave your lover". That being said, these are my favorite sticks regardless of Steve. For my personal liking they just work. They look very cool in the black but also seem not to slip out of your hands even if you're going nuts around your kit as some sticks have tendency to do. I have both nylon and wood and I'm drawn to these each time I sit down to play although I have many other pair of drumsticks. They're a lighter stick and I like to transition between these and my "Buddy Rich" to keep my quickness. Try these out quickly!
