Had this power supply for several years, gigging almost every weekend with tuner and variety of pedals. Bought it to conserve space on my home made pedal board. Great product (dynamite comes in small packages). Beats all others.

Well, I thought about this for a while, reading reviews everywhere. Trying to figure out if its worth the small investment. Seems like people keep trying to steer you towards the Voodoo Labs and saying its noisy and makes Electro Harmonix pedals noisy. Well I found out for myself and I glad to say I couldn't be happier. Although I have more than 5 pedals, the 5 I am powering work GREAT! NO noise hum or any other word you can use to describe. The first pedal in my chain is a EHX Metal Muff, BBE Green Screamer, BBE Mind Bender, BBE Opto Compresser and a BBE Sonic Stomp. I also tried it on my EHX Holy Grail and a Fender PT100 Tuner. NO problems what so ever. My signal is clean and clear. I thought I buy it and if it wasn't clean I'd use it for a back up. Now I'm gonna get another one for the rest of my gear. Great product and well worth it. Do listen to the nay sayers. There just mad because the dropped 2 bills on other brands. Save the doe and get another pedal or two.

I believe this is a relatively newer technology called a switching power supply, which caught my attention the first time I saw it, having fought with batteries and then trying various wall wart combinations for YEARS. The warts always took up way too much room on my pedal board. And being heavy they always fell out of my power strip, and I ALWAYS had a stupid hum. This unit does all it advertises and more. No hum and little heat(cuz there's no transformer), it is very light, and it takes up less room than a single typical wall wart (go figure, it's called a 1 Spot). I soldered and built my own connectors for a total of 5 pedals, but a few extra bucks for a connector pack would certainly have been worth it. I LOVE this thing. the 4.0 on quality is because it's plastic. Big deal, I'll make it a point not to step on it. FREE AT LAST (from hum) FREE AT LAST

I used to have to buy separate AC adapters for each pedal I bought, but after like five pedals, it was getting annoying, outlet-consuming, and expensive. Then I got this (with the multi-plug 5 daisy chain). THANK GOD for Visual Sound!!! With the multi-plug daisy chain, you can power five pedals while taking only one spot on the power strip. But, what if you have more than five pedals? Then buy another daisy chain, hook it to the end of the other daisy chain, and power up! I've recently gotten another daisy chain, and I'm lovin' it! It's simply one of my favorite pieces of equipment just because of how USEFUL it's been. Honestly, I would pay two or even three times the price they charge for this golden power source! And, if it breaks, then at least it won't cost much to replace it.

Money in the bank!!!

I use a homemade pedal board with all my pedals zip tied to my board for easy trasportation.
I got tired of cutting zip ties and changing batteries. My other guitarist uses about 7 pedals on his board and has 7 big wall warts on 2 power strips. "It's a mess and expensive!" I purchased this for my pedal board. I'm currently using 4 pedals. Dunlop Wah, Marshall JH-1, Rocktron Hush and a Fender Tuner pedal. This works great for all with no special connections.
I have the 5 plug connector. Everything stays connected on the board. I just plug in the one spot to an extention cord and I'm rocking!!! With no noise or hum. It's the best thing ever!
My guitarist wants one now.
Add up how much money you spend on batteries and you'll buy this. "It pays for itself!"
