This is pretty much a standard daisy chain-as good as anything out there. All the other daisy chains I've seen are pretty much identical in terms of features. It won't power effects that require an AC power supply (some Digitech pedals) or pedals that require a barrel connector that has a positive center (like some Line 6 pedals). You can solve the center positive problem by buying a center polarity converter that costs about 3 bucks. For the AC problem, you've got bigger issues. No matter what, you're better off understanding the power requirements of the pedals you buy and approaching your rig with a plan in mind.

I have had my one spot for a while now and it powers everything! I had a couple of pedals that do not take a standard 9v plug, so I bought the adapters. I bought a line 6 plug and 2 1/8" adapters for my solve tech pedal and my sansamp distortion. I have an extra chain added and can now power nine pedals. I am currently powering a Planet Sound floor tuner, Dunlop Wah, Solve Tech Small Stone, Line 6 Purple Modulater pedal thing, Sansamp Distortion, Digitech Digidelay, Dan Electro Distortion, Dan Electro Echo (best pedal ever!!!), and a Loop Station. That is a ton of pedals! They all work and let me concentrate on playing music. The One Spot is great. I love this thing.

If you're thinking you're going to power everything on the floor, think again. I just got this last night and was very disappointed to find that it won't fit every standard 9V socket. The male plug is too big for my Line6 POD 2.0, Digitech JamMan, and digital tuner. Bummer! It's why I bought this, to work these and an Ibanez Tube Screamer. So now I have all these plugs lying around for 1 item. I guess I'll buy more effects pedals. Buyer be "a"ware. Now that's out of the way, it does power the pedals very nicely. I can see where someone with a multiple effects board needing to consolidate the power strip concept would work like a dream come true. Great idea to daisy chain the power. It makes sense. How do it know? if it's chained of individual? You gots lots of effects pedals, buy it. You wanna power everything, don’t buy it. Just my $.02 - your mileage may vary.

This is a very nice daisy chain, I just upgraded my Boss PCS-120 daisy chain. Right away, I noticed a hum was gone. I'd also like to mention that the chords are longer than the boss version.

I have this powering my entire board. It deffinately beats having i power cord for each pedal...and the best part is if you need more you can get the additional cable and add more...
