I've had about 10 sets on 3 different basses and they were all very clear with a great tonal range and great sustain. Cleaning them each time with a dry cloth helps a lot.

Ok I've been playing bass for quite a while, but I just got my warwick double buck with these strings on. I plugged it in and was dissapointed and thought my warwick was bad? Then just today I broke an E string tuning it, IVE ONLY HAD THESE FOR A WEEK. So I put on another E string and total difference. I'm waiting till my music shop get a new order of strings. They're good for slap and pop, but don't plan on playing hard metal with a pick because the sound is dead and the stings are way too slinky. I usually have my bass in DADG, C#G#C#F#, or CGCF. Don't invest in these strings.
