Yes. This does give great protection, but have you ever noted the dimensions of the OE30 vs. the dimensions of a standard dreadnaught acoustic guitar. A good old TKL hardshelled dreadnaught case (or Musician's Friend Hardshelled Dreadnaught case) will do just as well. It fits well, has plenty of room at the headstock, and if bounced around, will take the shock at the body (not the headstock). The neck support keeps the body from bouncing around. As a matter of fact, if you look at the Ibanez AS 100 series case, and a standard dreadnaught case, there is litterally NO DIFFERENCE. An assistant manager at a music store verified that a dreadnaught case would work just as well if not better. For my money, I went with the dreadnaught.
