Well first off you have to know that this case is a hardshell chipboard. That means it is basically a thin hardshell case(with no padding inside). I do not understand why it is labeled at a softshell case. But anyway, this is an economy case; I know it will not last forever. It works for what I need it to do and is exactly like the old 1960s cases, which is perfect for the 1967 12 string that goes in it. The handle and all the latches seem good but the only thing is the compartment inside doesn't have a top to close over it... Thats really it, it a simple case for a cheap price. Great if you want a hardshell but don't have the money. I suggest this case to anyone who is in that position!
