This cymbal stand is the best I've used. I have a 7 peice Yamaha Stage Custom & a 6 peice Yamaha Tour Custom drum set, the Tour Custom goes to gigs and the Stage Custom lives at home. Both my sets have these stands. These stands are really great for gigs, set up & take down is quick and easy & everything stays where you put it. One stand with a three hole receiver holds a 14x12 tom,a 16x14tom,and a 21" Sabian HHX groove ride cymbal and it doesn't wobble at all. This is one of the best investments i've made towards my drum sets, they really are worth every penny.

The 700 series is awesome! I have three 755 stands and looking at another. Best way to say how happy I am is this...I have one 755 with an additional 3 hole receiver, cymbal boom arm & tom mount. This "Medium Duty" stand holds this hardware plus the weight of 2 16" crashes and a 10" tom!!! Enough said.

Great stand! You can dial in the exact placement for your cymbals sooo easily. Works great for playing shows or for using them at your house. I have 2 (now only 1 because one got stolen at a Venue) I have an 18" AAX Crash and a 20" AAX crash, and they don't budge. No wobble, no instability, and easy to loosen up after a show. It does not get stuck, and take a wrench to loosen up like comparable DW junk.

I bought these stands with my Yamaha Tour Custom set a couple months ago and LOVE them. The legs open smoothly and the large adjusting knobs tighten or loosen with ease (even after staying set up for a long period of time). These stands are just as sturdy as some higher-end, double braced boom stands I have. There's really no reason for a gigging drummer to carry a heavier double braced stand. Couple small complaints- I play with my ride low, just above my floor tom. This stand would not go as low as my Tama straight stand but this wouldn't be an issue with a different cymbal setup. The memory lock on the boom arm is a nice feature but it prevents you from sliding the convertible boom all the way into the stand for compact transport. Overall awesome stand, highly recommended.
