Great For The Road

I was looking for a gig bag for the Casio Privia 575R (88-key) I bought and was close to buying the GigSkinz 88, when I saw a 'refurb' offer on this (refurb or scratch & dent MAY mean a customer return - wrong size, changed mind, etc.). Although it's not built like a Yamaha Motif bag, it's pretty close - well padded and the wheels and shoulder strap are ideal for 'hands-free' towing. Foam padding (with Velcro backing) may be installed 2 ways to custom fit the back side of most keyboards (some assembly after unfolding from packing is necessary, but doesn't take long; instuctions included) Very rugged/tight. I am very pleased and would highly recommend this product. B. Norman, Flint, MI

Don't buy it

Don't waste your money on this flimsy bag

First of all, it shipped folded in half so that the two-part flimsy plastic is permanently curled up and bent.

Next, the unit comes with a list of 11 steps of instructions on how to put the piano in the bag correctly, it should be easier than that!

Finally the padding is very thin, at best maybe 1/4", You would have to be very careful moving it without creating damage.

The item shipped free one way, but since it won't ship free upon return I decided to keep it and move the piano carefully.

It is not adequate for taking to gigs, so buy a hardshell case if you are a touring musician.

This case is great for an Alesis Fusion 8HD!

I know this is designed for the S08, but I have an Alesis Fusion 8HD, and this case works perfectly for it! The size of these boards must be almost identical because my Fusion fits in snugly and nicely. The pouches are great, the wheels are very handy, plus it's a fairly supportive case, especially considering it's technically "soft." It has a lot of padding and production. The only weird thing is the shoulder strap, which seems to only be useful when used in conjunction with the wheels. You sort of end up having the keyboard trailing after you on the wheels. It works, but it's unusual. Not great for trying to actually carry it off the wheels. Other than that, though, great case. I always use it for my pedals and wires for my second board as well.
