I bought this pic thinking it would be a great feeling pic. Truthfully, it just didn't live up to my expectations. I played with it for a week before it stated falling apart. I wouldnt recommend it to anyone who plays any type of hard music.

Best thing since sliced bread

This is a great product, especially for new guitar players who have not mastered the art of holding a pick. My only drawback on this product is the pick is showing considerable wear after only a few hours of strumming and arpeggio. I love it, and would recommend it to all level of players.

Get used to it

It takes a bit to get used to, but I only use it in certain situations - namely when I need to fingerpick and flatpick in the same song. I don't know that it wears any faster than a normal pick, but in my experience I tend to use a handful of picks interchangably, so any individual doesn't get as much wear. I bought a three-pack of the Orbit picks six months ago and have only used one, so the wear is more apparent.

Best Acoustic Pick

This is not a pick for everyone, but it has become the only pick I use. I play acoustic guitar and have always been a finger-picker. But playing with our church orchestra I had a real need to develop a smooth rhythm strum. I have never been able to hold a pick for more than a few good strums before it starts turning sideways in my grip. I also need to drop the pick and go to finger-picking in the middle of a song sometimes. This is the perfect answer. I can wear it like a ring on my middle finger and spin it out of the way if I need to pick. Impossible to drop. But the cool thing is that I can achieve an extremely soft strum by letting it float between thumb and forefinger without pinching it at all. You can't do that with any other pick. It does wear out quickly if you are a hard strummer and the plastic is a little too soft for most players but it suits me fine. Not recommended for electric or for picking lead guitar, but great for a beautiful smooth strum.

better for soft strumming

I purchased this pick not knowing what to expect from it. I was quite impressed by the firm grip I could get with it. I played with it for a while and was happy with it. I soon discovered that it does not do as well with harder music. I began to strum more agressively and the ring broke in half. I was disappointed, but I just cut off the ring and use it for the incredable grip. If grip is what you want, this is the pick for you. If you're looking for stability, you should probably try another pick. My only other complaint is that the rubber comes a little too far down and I find myself catching it on the strings when I'm not paying attention.
