eh, there so-so

i bought purple DIP sticks from my local music shop and they seemed great....until the "stuff there dipped in" started getting holes in them. Eventually i just took all the DIP off the stick. Then after about a month or two, one of them broke when i hit a cymbal wrong. So now i have one mis-colored blank stick, and a broken one. Also the logo came off very easily. But that doesnt realy matter since you dont see the logo when your playing. I say buy it if u want.

These sticks are great for their grip but they give u major blisters on ur index fingers it may just be me but man it hurts

Don't be afraid to buy these sticks I play in my high schools pep band drum line and jazz band and they work great for everthing the only thing is the dip coating does come off after a while you can fix this with a little eltrical tape.

I started using these about a year ago because i have overactive sweat-glands (i know gross right?) and the dip does help a LOT. I have only used the nylon tips 5b but they hold up longer than most other pairs i've gone through. A great drumstick for the right person indeed.

I came back to the Zildjian Dips after not playing them for several years. I bought 3 Nylon 5b pairs and 3 wood tip 5b. I'm not sure if my technique, setup, or power of hit changed, but I found these to break way too quickly. This goes for both the wood and nylon tip. Since then I bought a 3 pack of Vater wood tip 5b, which I have found to hold up much better. On top of this, the "dip" has a tendency to peel off.
