This is a great cleaner, no doubt about it! I have used several other cleaners that did the job, but they were very harsh and they didn't give your cymbals a good shine. When I used it, I was a little surprised at the lack of shine from the polish, but the trick is to apply a thin layer, and then take a fresh cloth and really scrub the cymbal until you get a really bright shine. This polish gives the cymbal a nice shiny look that will almost look vintage. I gave quality a 4.5 because the bottle says "use sparingly" but, I had to use a fair amount. and features a 4.5 because this stuff can take the lettering off your cymbal. This aside, really good stuff. Strongly Suggested!!!!

i bought this stuff cause my cymbals were rly dirty up from playing outside alot,and when it finnally came in it worked decent.I had to apply alot of pressue of a good shine.i rly dont think its worth 10 buks though when u can buy regular mildew remover for 3 buks*which works just as good and doesnt damage your cymbals

This stuff works great but don't confuse it with a product that will "shine" your finger-printed cymbals up... this product is a little extreme and works wonders on old, tarnished, or dirty cymbals. I tried using it on 2 fairly-clean cymbals of mine, (Zildian A fast crash and A custom splash) and it took some of the natural color out of the finish. made it a little whitish. -- didnt affect the sound ofcourse, and no real problems, just a note

-this stuff does require some work to rub it in, is somewhat messy, and will remove printed logos, I'm pretty sure

Come on drummers, this stuff works. Having played drums for many years in PA, it was hard to find a good product to clean up the precious metal. PA has high humidities causing oxidation and outdoor events are hard on the cymbals. This stuff takes a little elbow grease, but the results are awesome. Another good product is called Blue Magic and comes in a tube. I use buffing cloth for general cleaning or old t-shirts. For application I use old socks, just put that sucker on your arm and double up at your hand, or you will get black finger! Use about once a month, and do about a quarter of the cymbal at a time. I use a stand to hold the cymbal, get yourself a chair, get a clean, soft cloth for your other hand to hold the edge of the cymbal and go nuts. Also have set up an electric 1/4

If your looking to bring the shine back to your cymbals then look no further. I bought my cymbals extremely dull with oxidation marks all over them. Shining them is no big deal, but your going to have to work to get those green spots off. Make sure you clean them in a safe area, I learned that the hard way after getting some of the black stuff that forms when your wiping them off onto my fathers carpet. But overall it was well worth what you pay!
